SMS Opt‑In & Consent
fourth. (operated by Fourth App LLC) is a golf tee time coordination app. This page documents how consent is collected before any SMS is sent through our text messaging program, what recipients can expect, and how to stop messages at any time.
What we send
fourth. sends two types of SMS: (1) tee time invitations initiated by an app user to a specific person they know, containing a private join link, and (2) transactional notifications related to a tee time the recipient has joined (for example, confirmations or cancellations). We do not send marketing or promotional SMS. Message frequency varies with activity and is typically 1–4 messages per tee time. Message and data rates may apply.
How consent is collected in the app
SMS invitations are user‑initiated, one at a time, to an individual phone number the sender enters manually. There is no contact‑list import and no bulk sending. At the point of phone number entry, the sender must affirmatively confirm — via a checkbox that is unchecked by default — that the recipient gave them permission to text them an invite. The invite cannot be sent until this confirmation is checked.

- First‑time recipients receive opt‑out instructions in the message itself.
Privacy
Phone numbers are used solely to deliver the messages described above. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details, including the SMS terms in Section 5.
